Carburettor looks the same as the original but under load will not fuel well when going up steep climbs. Upon inspection, I noticed that the stock carburetor needle has a spring to hold it open, but this one doesn't. Even with the float setting I couldn't get it to work properly. I had to send it back for a refund. I suppose if you just want cheap stuff for flat work that would be fine.

I have used this new carb on a Ford 9N and it seems to have improved tractor performance but needs some tweaking to ensure it is correct . The threaded gas fitting did not have enough thread depth to accommodate the brass fitting and had to be screwed in. The previous carburetor I removed was misadjusted: the holes in the injectors on the wrong sized internals were preventing the engine from running properly.
