I have to admit that I almost gave this unit an unfairly bad review. But I was hit with an "aha" moment, I stopped what I was doing and found both user error and the root cause of some of the issues I wanted to complain about. First, I like the idea of a steam cleaner for a number of reasons: deep cleaning without harsh chemicals, cleaning items that detergents can damage, cleaning in alcoves or irregular surfaces like baseboards, cleaning floors without rinsing or waiting. to dry. All in all, the Moolan multifunction steam whisk meets these requirements. It's an attractive package and looks well built. It corresponds to the specified speed up to the boiling point. It is compact and easy to assemble. It can be disassembled into several parts so that they can be easily dried before storage. I don't plan on wall mounting it so I can't comment on how secure it is. I can't say anything about the durability either. I encountered several problems. I can attribute the first two to cleaning with an extension hose rather than a device without a hose: when it first reads "Done", the steam coming out of the hose is still very wet. When I cleaned the baseboards, I immediately had to wipe the surface dry. When I tried to clean with the large nozzle on the hose, I just didn't have enough "trouble". It worked great with a mop head attached to two rigid extensions. It seems that the combination of the length of the hose and the lack of insulation allows the vapor to cool and condense as it reaches the nozzle. This can be seen as a feature for more delicate surfaces such as painted walls or fabric upholstery. The switch on my device is fiddly: sometimes it takes a few taps to turn it or go from "Hi" to "Low". It also occasionally toggles between Hi and Low modes, but never turns off. He did an excellent job cleaning metal sleepers with a small brush with brass bristles. Unfortunately, the nylon-bristled brush turned into a mangled mess after just five minutes of use, and that was with the hose attached. It looks like the bristles can't take the heat of the steam. For convenience, customer support is email only as the phone number listed in the manual is an international call. Revain (if applicable) advised me to contact the seller directly when asking for a replacement nylon brush. I will update the rating as soon as I get an answer. I would say the Moolan Multifunctional Steam Mop is a nice addition to our cleaning tool kit.
