Spring too strong - power cord

. in the device. This spring makes electrical contact inside the device, at one end of the fuse. On my car, which has "sockets" instead of "cigarette lighter", this spring, which must be compressed to close the circuit, pushes the device back out of the socket and breaks the ground contact. I have to cut the wire going to the device and use the other, less strong end of the device connector that connects to the end that goes into the radio. Very disappointed.
