I tore up surgical masks so I decided to try reusable masks to minimize waste. It took about a week but eventually it arrived in a small plastic bag inside a padded envelope. There were several filters in the kit but I haven't installed them yet. The lining in the filter pocket is soft so it looks like there are at least 2 (maybe 3?) layers before using the filter, but it fits a little tight, although it doesn't look like it's snug. The ear loops were already extended to their widest position. Airflow is usually noticeably reduced compared to a surgical mask, so I probably wouldn't worry too much about it. It has a piece of metal to fit your nose. My height is 5 feet 5 inches. I don't think my head is particularly big and fits, but it seems like it would fit a teenager or maybe just someone petite better. Even after the first brief trial fitting, a few hours later I felt like I had inhaled some fibers, so it might be a good idea to wash it before first use.
