The sides are inflated by thin leather
Due to the fact that low-quality leather is used in these shoes, the sides are inflated. I had a pair in daily use last year. I bought this last pair in February 2019 and the sides split open today. They lasted 3 months. Also, rubber soles tend to detach from the toe box relatively quickly. Not very happy with the durability
