Best filters for 6.7 Cummins!

I own a horse trucking company and each pickup truck drives about 250,000 miles a year. These filters work just as well, if not better than OEM filters. I will definitely order more of these!

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Disappears

GREAT PRICE, GREAT PARTS

AutoZone was $45 each. Half the price and looks identical to the original moose parts, works great! It's easy to replace, there's a good video on YouTube showing how to do it.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Reliability

Wrong filter media

much worse than the Mopar filter set, the rubber gasket is not attached to the filter so it could move or misalign slightly when fitted, the filter media is not the same. Because it's Chinese, it's impossible to imagine how many more corners were cut in the production process. With such an expensive engine, why would you use inferior products?

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Can't remember

Be careful mine came with a bad seal

The front filter came with a bad seal. it wasn't tight and looked 1/2 inch or more out of tolerance. Instead of pulling it over the canister, the canister just fell off and didn't form a seal. I bought them to save money but it ended up costing me money and time as I had to run to the dealer to buy them to have my truck running on Monday.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I will add later

Missing parts such as water separator rubber seal.

The water separator arrived without a rubber seal. I'm not sure why anyone would NOT consider this shipment as a whole while the missing parts become a problem later on. I'm also not sure if it's sheer incompetence and good luck paying attention to details when customers are paying for such a complete sale, or if it's just ignorance and careless behavior. She seems fine.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • High price

6.7L Cummins fuel filter

Will definitely buy again. I took a good look at the Mopar filters that I had given up. They are very similar. why overpay when mopar do wix and purolator. But I also recommend changing them at every oil change. I drive Shell Rotella every 3000 km. OIL, OIL FILTERS AND FUEL FILTERS ARE CHEAP. CUMMINS NO. One more note. if you have a Cummins warranty and intend to keep that warranty. DO NOT USE THIS. Will void the warranty. don't believe me Just contact the FCA and they will tell you.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Almost everything is in order

Don't be an idiot: fuel filter

At first the fuel filter didn't work, the car wouldn't start, I put the old one in and it started right away. A few hours of thinking about that crappy filter must have been the problem and I found out that the real problem was that I was an idiot! I found that the filter may not have been fully seated. If your truck won't start after berating yourself for buying a cheap filter instead of the original filter, make sure it's fully installed and then try again. Most likely, the problem is not inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

O-ring leaking around the fuel filter housing.

No problem with water separator. The fuel filter was a good fit. Both appear to be of good quality. The only issue I had was the o-ring that came with the fuel filter was the wrong size. Before installing, I lubricated the O-ring with petroleum jelly. I started the car, a terrible leak in the fuel filter tank area. He took off his hat. O-ring removed and checked, reinstalled and tried again. It's still dripping, not as much anymore, but it's constantly dripping from the canister. Put theโ€ฆ

Packaging problem

I ordered them because they looked like OEM versions that I had already installed on the truck 3 times. When I opened the box (see photo), the Revain shipping box was fine, but the thin box of filters was not. I couldn't find any of the small o-rings that come with the black filter. Look closely and you will see that it is INSIDE the filter. Since there were no instructions, it would be easy for someone to install this and destroy their $1200 fuel pump and drain the pump in the process. Bothโ€ฆ
