At first the fuel filter didn't work, the car wouldn't start, I put the old one in and it started right away. A few hours of thinking about that crappy filter must have been the problem and I found out that the real problem was that I was an idiot! I found that the filter may not have been fully seated. If your truck won't start after berating yourself for buying a cheap filter instead of the original filter, make sure it's fully installed and then try again. Most likely, the problem is not in the filter, but in the nut that installs the filter.
