I used this on a brand new electric guitar with a matte black color hoping to add some shine to it. It didn't help but I think it sealed the paint and gave it a nice smooth look. I try to wax all my guitars with the right guitar wax. I used this beeswax on this guitar because I read that woodworkers have used beeswax on painted and natural wood as a finish and there just aren't many guitar waxes that you can use for flat paint. Beeswax works great. I applied it with a sponge and polished it with a microfiber cloth. It took some time. Being careful not to get anything on my neck, I used a neck rinse instead. The metal parts were not damaged either, they only had to be sanded. I would love to try this on a natural wood surface as this product comes with a video showing how well it works on an old dented footstool. There was day and night. Assuming this review gets published I'll have to try it on natural wood to see how it fares and then I'll update this review. Thank you for reading.
