Review on 💾 Enhance Storage Capacity with DY-tech 2nd HDD SSD Hard Drive Enclosure Caddy for Lenovo Thinkpad T440p T540p t540 w540 W540p W541 by Bill Wieser

The DY-tech HDD cart was shipped from South Korea so it took longer than usual to arrive, but it was well packaged and worked right out of the box (no box, just bubble wrap). I installed the 500GB hard drive that came with the T440p and it was up and running in minutes. Some people have trouble installing screws. They should fit all the way in and you should be able to see the screw through the same vertical screw hole on the bottom of the hard drive. I have attached photos for clarification. The screwdriver included in the kit does not work at all. I used the correct size Philips 0 head and was able to screw them in very easily. Note that the drive tray will not slide back into the laptop case unless the screws are fully seated. The bezel doesn't exactly fit, but looks good overall, and the display next to the fake button does. flashes blue/red when the hard disk is active. My only complaint is that the drive shows up as an ejectable drive in Windows 10. Otherwise it works great.
