I'm not an expert on such things. I am happy with my purchase but I had some minor issues. Pros: - They're pretty good. They appear to be good standard Scotch or Double Rox glass. You are a good weight. Cons: for a crystalline product they have a very thin seam (see one of the photos). It's rather weak and luckily doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Most people don't care, but if you're picky about your glassware, this may not be the glass for you. I ordered two sets of 4 glasses, one of the four came broken. Thankfully, Revane was happy to replace the broken one. As of this writing, these glasses are 60% off. If I paid full price I would say I didn't get my money's worth, but for the price I paid I would say I got a good deal. This isn't something I would buy as a wedding gift for a close family member, but definitely something I'll have at home when company comes. They are not dishwasher safe (but good glassware is not dishwasher safe). And it's nice enough that the company will be impressed, but not nice enough that I get upset if one of them breaks. Definitely an improvement over standard glassware.
