Review on Pirelli Cinturato P7 205/55 R16 91V summer by Boguslawa Gornicka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I have been trusting Pirelli for over 15 years. I take this model for the second time, in 2022 it was a novelty (P7 and European P7 Blue, it was not imported to the 2022). Since 2022, he has skated 4 seasons, a Jetta 6 car. These are exactly the tires that the Sport prefix would fit 100%, because. handling for a size 16 at a height, the ratio of stiffness / wear to noise is very adequate. This model is quieter than its predecessors (the factory ones were oak, probably even with the Breeches can be compared.). The width of the tracks is decent for "eating" puddles, without sacrificing traction. The tread depth is about 9mm +/- (photo 1 with a sticker), winter Yokos are generally 7mm, which is kind of handicapped. On the factory Cinturato P7 (2022) I left for 5 seasons, but they were noisier and tougher. On these I skated 4 seasons and another 5 mm remainder (on the 2nd and 3rd photos used), but I change the tires before they reach the state of slicks. The tires actually turned out to be quieter than their predecessors and quieter than the P1 Verde, fuel economy, as stated in the tests, I can’t say for sure, because. depends on the driving style, but on average 7-7.5 liters came out on the highway with the AC turned on. In the rain it is very confident, they are not afraid of ruts, they “eat up” puddles without aquaplaning (I did not specifically experiment, but there was such a situation when rebuilding through ruts, and everything is in order). Even in the rain, I had to move through a muddy loamy field, turned off the anti-bux and successfully drove without getting stuck. On a wet surface it brakes perfectly, but also on a dry one. At speed, it braked almost to the floor - the abs did not work. But here the Ate brakes showed themselves. For all the time, not a single wheel has jammed, the wear is uniform (watch the pressure and you will be happy, I pump size 205/55/16 at 2.2 atm). In any case, the choice is yours, read tests, reviews, and do not just believe the word "a friend of a friend says that .". In general, I recommend to everyone, even pensioners! Tires must be with a margin of safety and speed. RF production. We don’t have European ones, because. factories in 2022 and China. Good luck on the roads! G. R.

Pros
  • Feedback on size 205/55/16. Worthy characteristics - reduced noise (compare with its predecessors), of course there is noise, but it is tolerable. It should be understood that the tires are of medium hardness, but from this they have a margin for strength and wear. The tread depth is 9mm, which is super! The groove width and tread depth have been increased, stability at speed (according to M4 and M11 is just a fairy tale), good grip and handling on dry land and in rain, braking on dry land and in rain, AI consumption. Reasonable price for 2022 prices! For 2022 a little more expensive, but acceptable.
Cons
  • Only the absence of a "curb", which makes the tire look like a retro bagel. The last model '11-'12 had it. On all the photos of the stores there are incorrect images, such as a tire with a curb, but in fact there is none. Maybe in the new ated version of this model they will do it.
