I can't put into words how much I LOVE this case. NOTE: If you are looking for a compact case, this is NOT for you. As a hobby artist, I think it's great that I can pack and transport all of my painting supplies in one suitcase. It works great for me because it holds up to 220 pencils or pens (depending on size). I currently have 50 - colored pencils 54 watercolor pencils 24 - woodfree colored pencils 5 - woodfree drawing pencils 1 - 9B drawing pen 6 - micron felt tip pens 11 - felt tip pens 3 - brushes 1 - sharpener 1 - lap eraser 1 - retractable eraser 1 pen (roll paper) for drawing And there is still room for more. I love that the bag has only 1 zip in the main compartment with 3 two-way flaps inside (for a total of 8 storage spaces) so I can easily switch between different media. It also has a small zip pocket on the back that I use for scrapbooking markers and a small flat front pocket on the front. The cover appears to be made of nylon material, so it's water-resistant and easy to clean. He also has a nice pen. The patterns are beautiful and overall it's durable. The only thing I would say this bag is missing is a longer attachable/detachable shoulder strap as it can be a bit heavy to carry around when full. I am happy with my purchase.
