Ideal for hand quilting!
I knit by hand and these flexible thimbles are the best I've bought in a long time! They saved my fingers and helped me make a photo quilt much faster than without them. They are much more comfortable than hard thimbles. You can't pierce the needle with them because the back of some needles is sharp and can go through them, but you can easily grab the needle with them to pull through.
