I'm not new to the Defender range. I bought them for my iPhone 8 and two for my Samsung S10+. The plastic of the S10+ wore out or broke after 2-3 years and I had to buy a new one. I've dropped my S10+ so many times it's not funny, but there has never been any major damage to the phone or glass. Once it passed through a metal tube, and the S10+ had a small chip on the glass due to the curved edge of the glass and not too much coverage on the body. I think there was more coverage when he turned off the Edge feature on the S10+. Anyway, when my S10+ kicked into the sea after 3 years, I bought another case from the Defender series without hesitation. After a few days I noticed that I didn't hear the normal click when attaching the case to the belt clip. I took a close look at the case and the belt clip. I've noticed that since I'm right-handed, if I click into the body of the holder, if I click into the body top-forward and bottom-back, it snaps onto the power button's rubber band. It was annoying at first when Samsung moved the volume button to the right on the S21 and folded down the power button. I got used to the position of the power button on the S10+, and when I pressed it on the S21, I pushed the volume down further. As other users have reported, you have to turn your phone upside down to squeeze it. That means the top of the phone is facing backwards and the bottom of the phone is facing forwards if you have the mount on the right side. I checked the box twice to see if it was left handed or for use on the left side of the bottom but there were no marks. I think they should mention it on the packaging or in the description. It's not the end of the world for me as long as I remember to turn my phone upside down every time I put it in my holster. I'm concerned as the cameras are now closer to my body so it's more likely to be damaged. A cool idea for the case would be a sliding door to close and open the chamber. The case is big enough for that. I took off a star to see if Otterbox could redesign the spot where the hook on the mount snaps into the case so right-handed people don't have to flip the phone upside down or sell this version. left-handed case.
