Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Unleash the Fun with the 16 Inch Wheel Chrome Unicycle: A Stylish Ride with Alloy Rim by Mike Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality unicycle.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, strength and durability of this unicycle. And what fun it was for an 8 year old to learn and drive. It took her a week or two to completely circumnavigate the driveway (30 minutes to an hour each day). This is probably the right size for anyone under 5 feet tall. I had to cut (with a hacksaw) about 3" from the end of the seat stem so she could reach the pedals throughout her cycle (she is 4ft tall and the bottom of the stem touches the top of the wheel if you seat very low) . There is still enough stem left to adjust the seat as needed over the next few years of growth. Another note on assembly: there is not much to do, but it is very important to position the cranks and pedals correctly. The screws and threads go in different directions on each side. So if you do it somewhere in the opposite direction, it's easy to remove the threads. Just look at the markings on each part - they're not easy to find, but they're there. The unicycle is not as difficult to control as it may seem (anyone who can learn to ride a bike, ie with normal strength and balance can learn one). It's a good alternative to riding a bike, as you just have to pave a small, level surface to do it surface, just don't forget the helmet, because in the time it takes to move, you need many attempts to end in a fall. She's never had a crash that required a helmet, but like learning to ride a bike, it's definitely a risk. One of the advantages of learning to ride a unicycle over riding a bicycle is that at least the unicycle always goes slowly. But there are more falls.) I learned to ride a unicycle about 35 years ago and recently bought a larger (20โ€ณ) different model that costs three times as much as this one - and it's only marginally better. After a few months, it can now walk forward, wobble to balance in one spot, and move back without falling in. It was great fun and practice and helped build confidence and demonstrated how to set additional goals and work towards them. You can find many free tutorials and ideas on YouTube to get started and progress Example game for beginners: after the first few days just try to balance and cover a distance with full pedal, draw a line with a different color of chalk every day for each new distance record. ) And now she can't wait for the next small local parade where small bikes and unicycles are allowed.
