I have been using a black sketchbook as a journal for over a year and have used a variety of pens to write. I'm looking for something to just jot down thoughts and random sketches, so I appreciate the finer point of these pens compared to other pens I've used. It writes very well *but* lacks a lot, especially if you don't store the pen tip down to get the ink flowing. All in all a fantastic price for the number of pens and if you let the ink dry completely it doesn't bleed or stick to another page when you close the book like my other gel pens. Very happy with it but wish he didn't miss as much as he does!
