Review on ⚡️ Enhanced Weatherproof Protection: Introducing the Source HOM230CP Circuit Breaker by Mark Gilbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I find the homeline to be reliable and the switches work when they should.

I'm not sure why they call it a sale and don't accept returns but the nine forty eight price is exactly the same as HD. If it's defective I don't see them preventing it from being returned, but it's hard to tell if it's working properly. Turning it on and powering it is only part of what it does, and unless you short circuit it on purpose, you never know it'll work until you have a real problem, and by then you can due to one faulty switch will have serious problems. and the $10 you paid for it might pale in comparison. I've been using Homeline in several of my buildings and homes for years and have never had any problems that I know of and if I do something wrong or overload the circuit it clicks. My house is all electric and this was for the new water heater under the kitchen sink. I also have a Square D in my cabin and it's been fine for years, but homeline switches are a lot cheaper. So when I installed a new panel and needed a couple dozen, it was a serious savings. I don't see it warranting 1 star because it's non-refundable and if I went to a town about 40 miles from me I'd buy it from home, but for the same price I have never doubted it would arrive broken so it would be easier for me to walk the 100ft to my mailbox.

Pros
  • No returns on this sale item
Cons
  • Very expensive
