The instructions are wrong but the product is excellent
The material is soft rubber, which I like. It was a little difficult to shape properly and I messed up 2 before I got it right the 3rd time. I boiled it for 10 seconds and no more, after which it started to twist badly and collapsed. Don't follow the cooking instructions for 25 seconds. Having done everything right, I had no trouble transitioning from my old guard to this one! It fits great and is easy to clean. I love that there are addons (at least as many as I haven't messed up) so it will be a while before I need to buy more. But if I do, I will buy them again!
