I use it indoors so I can't speak about its weather resistance but for me it does the job well. I didn't want to drill or mount anything to the walls, so I looked for something that could hold my Arlo in place with some sort of handle or lever. It grips the railing of my stairs very well. It's fairly malleable and will take the shape you bend it into very easily; You can bend the rubber multiple times in any direction. Personally I would have preferred it to be a bit harder to bend as its shape changes once you actually attach the camera, the weight of the camera pulls the rubber down a bit. But a bit of trial and error, aiming higher than you think and then plugging in the camera solves the problem. It generally works well if you try a few times and figure it out. Will definitely buy again and recommend to anyone who doesn't want to drill.
