Clevite Brand Name in Bearings

These bearings were ordered for the Blazer 99 4.3 V6. Intake manifold gaskets and timing chain changed. My guess is that material got into the oil pan, clogging the oil pump strainer and losing oil pressure. Engine disassembled and bearings changed. I've read a lot of posts that didn't talk about low oil pressure. I was! Main bearings 2 and 3 were clogged. Wrapped wet and dry sandpaper around the magazine and used a flat shoelace around it, pulling it back and forth and smearing it with WD 40. Finished with 1500 grit. At the next oil change I drove 200 km and changed the oil and filter again. Cut the filter to look for metal particles; They were there. I'm on my third oil change now and will change it in a few hundred miles. They ask why all the oil is changed. Answer: Pull the V6 out of the Blazer 4x4 and you'll never want to experience it again.
