A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Adequate price for this segment, good performance and integration into the vendor's ecosystem can be decisive factors in choosing these points for building a soho network

    Pros
    • Performance, work with the controller. It integrates into the general infrastructure of the vendor, if you build everything on unifi, then everything is simple and clear. Almost perfect for the SOHO segment.
    Cons
    • Under load, it is desirable to reboot once a week, otherwise, there may be communication problems. They don't work without a controller. This is a unifi branch and it belongs to the home segment, but it works great in the office, and there is an edge line for the office, as a result, these points are not integrated into the office line.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

An excellent terminal solution for creating a wi-fi network. Stylish, small and powerful. It can work both separately and under the control of the controller. Has pros: - Work in 2 ranges - 2.4 / 5 GHz. - Good coverage area - power 22 dBm. - Speed up to 1750 Mbps. - Ability to use as an ethernet socket due to the second port. Some cons: - Probably the price. But, today, this is the problem of many products.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

This point works together with the mikrotik ccr1009 router, the Internet speed is 200Mbps In line of sight 5G when testing speed gives good performance, such as 280/280 on 2G in line of sight 110/110 The transmitter is very weak, the coverage radius is very small, possibly due to the loaded band. For private homes, you need two such points, for each floor, so that everything is stable.

    Pros
    • Design Easy to set up POE "Speed"
    Cons
    • The radius of coverage in an apartment building on 5G is very poor, went beyond the wall 5G disappears turns on 2G

    Nice price, good quality.

I had to start 2 different networks at 2Hz and 5Hz. In general, the lack of power is 5Hz, the wall is 60cm brick, diagonally, the distance is 2m, the laptop pumps faster at 2Hz (N) than at 5Hz (AC) (by 2x2 laptop) The wall is 60cm brick and another wall is 1 brick (12-20cm), the phone sometimes loses the 5Hz network, the distance is 4m. For basic needs - everything is fine (YouTube, torrent TV on 2 TVs at the same time) For transferring large files and the declared speeds - only direct line of…

    Pros
    • It works stably, after a power outage, it rises normally, with 30 networks in the district there are no problems. Set and forget.
    Cons
    • Weak signal 5Hz Several times I wrote I can not connect to 2Hz If you make one network, when the transition is not 2Hz (with a bad signal), it does not return back to 5Hz (only reconnect) Not worth your money.

    Always great hardware

I use a lot of UBNT hardware. For most of my customers, I chose UAP AC Pro because of 1) price for features, 2) reliability, 3) coverage, 4) ability to serve many, many customers simultaneously, and 5) high throughput. UniFi radios are great, and you see them everywhere for a reason. Significant improvement in automatic handover speed when roaming from one access point to another (compared to previous models).

Gold standard for home and small business Wireless hotspots

I work for an IT company and have done some wireless deployments with different configurations (Watchguard, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Meraki) from a small home based business or even medium sized Businesses, Ubiquiti doesn't pose a problem. Your hardware just works, it works well and gives you plenty of options to tweak your configurations as you see fit. Your hardware works very well along with great logs/information to help you improve your setup once you know what the options do. They provide great…

Without a doubt the best WAP BUT DO NOT USE THE INSTALLATION APP!

I've installed several of these at home and at work and it's the best WAP I've ever used. HOWEVER, the first two took me ages to connect to my UDM Pro. If you are using it with a controller like UDM or UDM pro, DO NOT USE THE PHONE APP FOR SETUP! Just connect them to the controller and set them up via the controller's web admin. If you use the app, they will never accept it and will never connect to the controller. They will still work but they just won't adapt/connect so you can't control them

    Pros
    • I've always loved it
    Cons
    • Expensive insurance

    Great for RV's!: Wireless Hotspots

Beats any standalone WiFi hotspot I've ever had. I decided to use this on our RV as I'm upgrading all the network infrastructure anyway. So this integrated seamlessly into my existing UniFi setup. I have 3 TVs, a PS4, 4 tablets, 2 phones and 3 Raspberry Pis. Everything in the RV is now connected at maximum bandwidth based on device limitations and not AP limits. That's a huge win and everyone in the camper can stream at full capacity at all times. If I had to do it again I would consider the…

I finally have a good network at home

If you're like me, you never want to spend more than $100 on a home network, wired and wireless together. I've tried many different brands over the years, LinkSys, Buffalo, TP-Link, D-Link and many more, and let's not forget the routers/modems that come with the ISP. few of them were connected. I've just spent many hundreds of dollars only to be disappointed. -PER $142; $132; US-8-150W $192) is the most expensive network I've set up for myself (at least x3 I've ever wanted to spend) so it must…

    Works great, replaces Unifi AP

When I ordered it through Revain I got the unit with board revision 31 so new. Installation was quick and I think I could have used the existing mount from the old Unifi AP but I liked the new one better. I switched the port on my Unifi switch to 802.11af PoE instead of the passive PoE that the old access point used and it started up as soon as I plugged it in. Performance and reliability are what I've come to expect from Ubiquiti. at home with 40 devices connected, probably overkill for my…

Mmm WiFi! for wireless access points

My home network is ALL Ubiquiti. The problem lies in the design of my house. This is a two-story basement, cinder block, and brick construction and the floors and ceilings are concrete, so it's not very convenient for WiFi. I have a hotspot on every floor in the house but now that we are spending more time in the garden in the summer the problem is that although we do get a signal it is quite manual and my google speaker at home is in the right place should be. place, otherwise it will not work

I work for an IT company and have done some wireless deployments with different setups (Watchguard, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Meraki). In terms of a home, small, or even medium-sized business, Ubiquiti is a no-brainer. Your hardware just works, it works well, and gives you plenty of options to tweak your configurations as you see fit. Your hardware works great along with great logging/information to help you improve your setup if you know what the options do. They provide great documentation on their…

Had to reboot router numerous times to resolve connectivity issues, most of these issues were Wi-Fi related and some were wired. It's just that I've spent many hundreds of dollars just to annoy myself. That's why I was skeptical of what seems to be a fandom for Ubiquiti and the UniFi brand. After setting up my…

    Works well - easy setup

I have Cat5e cables in my house with ethernet ports in every room, built in 2017 .About 2800 sf.2 story. We have had all interior walls insulated for better noise protection. The WiFi router is in a large room on the 1st floor, roughly in the middle of the house. There is no WiFi signal in the places farthest from the router. Poor reception on the porch and terrace. I read many reviews and chose the UBIQUITI Pro Hotspot to improve WiFi signal. I'm tech-savvy and hands-on - never worked in IT. I
