I've used pads a few times and after careful handwashing found them to be as strong and durable as when new. I clean them by putting some detergent in the sink and scrubbing with a brush. I then rinse thoroughly with a hand sprayer to ensure there are no detergent residues. Oh, then put them on a towel, cover and let most of the moisture out. Then I let them dry on a flat surface. After a few uses they look like new. I have so many windows in my house that I keep some blue and yellow napkins and clean them when the whole house is finished. Pets and appliances are really high quality.
