These kitchen scissors are sharp when new. They feel strong and the serrated blade is useful for slicing things like chicken bones. The handles have an integrated handle for opening screw cap bottles, but only fit smaller bottles; nevertheless it can be useful. The scissors are difficult to open and I have to pull them after each cut; Hopefully this goes away when the screw is loosened. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability, but at first glance I think they would make a nice addition to my kitchen.
