At first glance, this device is very deceptive. No fancy color display; just a few little buttons. On closer inspection, however, it is deceptive: no map functions, no external antenna connection; and with no batteries inside, it's almost as light as a feather. But this device isn't easy when it comes to navigation support. I have kept this device in my car for the last three years and have already lost count of the number of times it has prevented me from rolling over. I can count the number of times he's held me on my way and brought me home without a single wrong move. I keep a detailed log of these trips on my website. Even after so many years, it's still very nice to know that I can download some map coordinates and just go to my destination without worrying about how to get there. My biggest hike to date is the 1500 mile journey through the Maine wilderness where we consistently achieve all of our goals without fail. One of those days would have been impossible without GPS or ended tragically. I recently decided to buy a new GPS and was considering selling the GPS 12. But after a few days with the new device, I decided that the GPS 12 still had a lot to offer. me for my type of use (off-road driving). I think it will accompany me for many years to come!
