Vanilla tastes like cake batter. It's a bit sandy but soft sand. I added a banana with almond milk and then left it in the fridge for an hour which helped soften it. I would buy it again and it gives a little boost of energy. I'm not a breakfast lover so this is perfect. The smoothie smells nice, but the container smells like horse hay, which doesn't bother me but might bother others. It keeps you full for hours.
