Cool looking technology with some flaws.

I agree with the other reviewer, the grout is applied thinner so it's a bit harder to see the color than in the suction cup (which holds more grout) Also - and it might be my hard water - but there The water hole is much smaller, I had a surface tension bubble mold at the bottom of the drop tester that prevented the replacement needed to change the color. I pulled out the checker and popped the bubble, and then it seemed to pop again. All in all, I think I'll return to the suction cup checker because it was easier to read.

Pros

Make sure your test kit is clean. Put a carbon dioxide indicator (not included) in the glass CO2 monitor and hang the inlet in the aquarium. Wait about two hours to see the result.
