As an automation specialist, I first bought myself a set of mini pliers/mini cobra for everyday use. I use them more than my tool box now. The bag is actually big enough for my Leatherman Wave and knife. I bought this second set mainly for the dam but also for the second pair of pliers and an extra pouch to attach to my laptop bag. Someone who uses tools on a daily basis cannot express enough satisfaction about a well-made tool in their hands. I will gradually replace all of my work tools with the Knipex brand just for the fun of it because mini pliers combined with my Leatherman shaft has literally replaced an entire tool bag, I no longer have to lug around a tool bag. I have everything I need for 99.9% of phone calls right on my body in a Knipex belt pouch. For the hobbyist or do-it-yourselfer the cost may seem ridiculous but for the professional these tools are totally worth it, your tools are an investment as well as a measure of pride in your work. Buy Knipex and feel the difference and you will never look back.
