Died a year later for kitchenware and gadgets

I really liked this thermometer! It was easy to use, he liked the backlit display and the magnets on the back. It's lightweight and the wand slides out easily with instant temperature reading. Although I have used this thermometer many times, I was very disappointed when it died without warning. I've changed the batteries and tried troubleshooting but to no avail. Didn't even last a year!
