I used to wear both cheap and quality gloves so I know what to look for. At first glance, they do not give the impression of high-quality gloves. I'll admit they weren't expensive but thought Dakine would be a good brand to try. Apparently not much. Pins and toes not completely filled with insulation, maybe 3/4 full. The palms are not reinforced. No double stitching on the wrist. Plastic feel on the snow guard (so not quite Cordura). I haven't worn them in the cold yet, but if they last a few years, they'll be what they seem: a $25 pair of gloves.
