Bought this lock last week. I used it on my bike for 2 days before it was stolen and I have no one to turn to for warranty/guarantee. Spoke to a bike shop a few blocks away and they basically said they don't carry U-locks anymore just because those locks are easy to break. According to the manager, the chain locks will come loose if someone tries to cut them with a hand saw. U-locks are a lot easier to cut after a while since they are solid and don't move. Kryptonite usually makes good products, but do yourself a favor and get a chain, not a padlock.
