Although the outer construction of the padding is very nice, BEWARE the inner foam padding may not be. Once I was skating on the rink and it seemed to me that I was always leaning to the left. I decided to remove the padding as my mare needs a front patch downhill and wanted to use the padding I already have. The inner foam padding had TWO different thicknesses! Pooh. Also, the flocking is synthetic, which I knew when I bought it. In general, the pad is comfortable, large pockets, the saddle pad easily accommodates large saddles. If you don't mind removing the inner foam padding, I would recommend doing so. My mare likes that the filling is sorted
