Review on πŸ”§ DEWALT DGL573 Lighted Technician Bag, 41-Pocket Tool Organizer by Brad Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

MY GOD. I love this bag!

At first I was a bit skeptical about this bag. Any pocket that has a lightweight gizmo built into it is probably just another feature you don't need. However, I came out of a champion's pocket that didn't close like that. It all ended up in a big dump in the middle. This bag has zippered compartments for all your small tools. Large external pockets on the other side for other things. And a large middle section that easily fits several batteries, a drill and a hammer drill. Etc. And that can also be buttoned up. My old bag sometimes fell down while driving. Tools are everywhere. Pooh. With this bag I don't have to worry. Now back to the light. I really find it very helpful. Light falls on your instruments. This comes in handy when you are in low light areas. And it can also glow in your pocket. Perfect for dropping something on the floor when trying to find it. I ended up buying an 18" Dewalt Contractor bag to carry my large tools, extension cords, etc. The combination of the two bags is amazing. I know there are big bags that you can carry everything in, but over time your bag gets really heavy. The two large systems are just the right size and weight to carry all of my small power tools and hand tools. I still have a box for all my fasteners and other miscellaneous items. Trying to pack everything in one bag would be a weight nightmare. The only solution or downside to the bag was that I had to sew on a carrying handle to keep it from flapping around in front of my tools. This took about 3 minutes. Otherwise this bag is great. I looked at about 15 other bags in stores and ordered them from Revain. There were a few other decent bags, but I kept going back to my two DeWalt bags.
