This was very difficult to assemble due to insufficient instructions. When he tells you to sit on the seat to apply pressure that binds the frame to the seat, you really have to hit yourself as hard as you can (technical term). If you don't have enough weight, ask someone to do this 3 or 4 times. You'll know when he's there. I'm very short so it's not low enough for me to be comfortable, but since I use it as a dressing table it's fine. This only gets 4 stars because some of the parts look quite flimsy (but nothing is broken yet and I don't see any signs of breakage); and the difficulty of trying to piece it together. UPDATE: I finally removed the wheels and now the stool is way too low, but I fixed that with a thicker seat cushion. Try adjusting it before attaching the wheels if you don't need it mobile.
