The feeder is not bad, but not perfect. On the positive side, compared to a swing/trough feeder, there is definitely a saving in seed as there is less waste. This also means we can last about a week between refills for our parrot. On the other hand, the design could be improved.* Since the edge that the door falls on is at the very front and the cage doors are on the outside, this means that the feeder tilts outward. This makes gravity feeding the seeds a little difficult. My parrot can still get food but I pat or shake it every day just to make it a little easier*. Waste drawer is loose. Combine it with Lean and it wants to fall out. I'll have to tape it in place.* No wonder since it's hanging on the outside. As for the cage, some of it still ends up outside the cage, although it does catch most of the seed waste - more so than an internal feed. but it's not that bad. Use tape 9j in the trash box. At least I have to swap this week first.
