Well made but not suitable for carpet over carpet

These skates were well made. However, they did not meet my requirements. They didn't work under the legs of my heavy marble-topped coffee table with narrow metal legs. I wanted to protect my oriental rug which is on the rug in my living room which has a table on it. With this configuration, the legs would slide off the rollers very easily.
