According to the 2002-2006 Honda CRV instructions you need to cut off all mounting tabs except M and H. However, the H tabs must line up with the slots in the frame of the original radio hole so they don't pinch anything and this prevents the underside of the mounting kit from snapping into the dash and thus rattling. This is actually mentioned in other reviews, I wish I had seen them before buying! I suspect if some other tabs had been left at the bottom in place of the H this might have worked, but since the rest is now cut off I can't be sure.
