I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. I followed the directions to prepare the mix for the trip to camp without flushing the holding tank. All I can say is that the light on my black tank monitor has been 4 (full) for a long time whether the tank is full or empty. After flushing the tank at the campsite the lights went out and when we left 4 days later it showed 3 lights (3/4) full. Throw it out before you leave and the light went out. Now we are home and the light still shines blank and smells pretty good when you smell it in the RV bathroom. You can draw your own conclusions. As for me, it seems to be working and will likely be added to my regular maintenance. I can say with confidence that if you are having the same storage monitoring issues and haven't tried this product, give it a try. Be sure to follow the instructions in the letter.
