I read a lot about this "hoodie" not being a sweatshirt before I bought it. And also that it is too small and not long enough. This is an elegant sweatshirt with a slight sheen, no fleece lining, but otherwise a lighter weight sweatshirt. I bought white to compare. My rose print is completely symmetrical, with some white voids on the front as I've seen in photos. For me it is a normal size. I'm 5 feet 4 inches and 105 pounds. for reference. If you have a large chest you may have an issue with the length, but as I'm built like a boy I find the length perfectly acceptable. I'm glad I went for the small size instead of XS. I wanted a little more space. I think the sleeves would be too long for me in a medium size. I don't like the fabric on the neckline and sleeves as I think it's of poor quality. But in general I like it. I plan to wear it with white jeans. UPDATE: After wearing (and not just trying on) this sweatshirt all day, I have to agree with many people that the length of this sweatshirt is a bit short. I consider myself a short waist and I have a small bust. So for those of you with large breasts or a long waist or both, I would caution you against this purchase.
