I haven't done any dyno testing though. My main point is this. Smoother idle, better acceleration and more power at cruising speed. The engine had sporadic rough idle problems which were reduced. To be honest I also installed an ACCEL Super Coil which I bought on (sigh!) ebay. I did NOT have high expectations. I mainly did this to assemble heavy/high performance parts. My car, a 1995 Chevy Astro Van, had factory parts. It should be noted that the connections were slightly rusted. This may have contributed to my idle problem and decreased performance. As a retired Air Force electronics technician, I have paid particular attention to reliable installation. I have always been satisfied with the high quality of ACCEL. I was able to lower the correspondingly high price by looking around (thanks Revane). Not only did I do this for fuel economy, but for the overall improvement in efficiency I drove a little more. ;) Thanks for your time, Ammo Guy 8-) Aim small, miss small.
