Disappointing performance

Every step of testing this projector has only left me disappointed. I have three other projectors at home, all of which have a standard tripod mount, but this one doesn't. My house has a lot of sloping/inclined walls/ceilings and each of my other projectors can properly focus on those corners and align to the correct rectangle. However, this projector only wants to display on a non-slanted surface. It doesn't have enough keystone settings to balance my walls/ceiling and I can't get a good rectangular projection there. Also, this projector does not focus evenly on a sloping surface. I had the bottom bar options clearly in focus and then opened the settings menu. The menu was completely fuzzy. I focused on the menu, then exited it to find the bottom bar completely blurry again. I bought a new tripod with a platform that this projector attaches to with straps (because the projector has almost no ground angle adjustment and I couldn't properly position this unit anywhere in the room without them). The control buttons on the back of the projector are very difficult to see, they're oddly spaced, and the directional arrows would be much better if they were in the more standard diamond/plus arrangement like on the remote, rather than being up/down and left and arranged to the right of each other under left and right. Since the projector's buttons are difficult to see, move on to the remote control. First you need to get 2 AAAs and put them in (not included although at the asking price of this projector you would think they would include some.) The remote control has terrible range and worse, it doesn't work at all from the sides or from below (even a foot away with fresh batteries in the remote control). You must be in front of or behind the projector, or just at a slight angle ahead/backward for the remote control to work at all. The focus knob also gets stuck at times, then sort of jumps past a certain point and keeps turning and focusing. First I decided to try playing a movie from a flash drive. I put a flash drive with movies in the USB1 port and it didn't seem to recognize it at all, then the USB2 port with the same result. I thought maybe he doesn't like USB3 drives and tried USB2 drives. I've tried 7 different flash drives, all on USB ports 1 and 2, all with movie folders, then with movies in the root directory too, and in each case there's no indication that it even recognized the drive connected (flashing disks are burned when inserted, but there is no access.) I even checked that the disk has both new and old movie file formats, and still nothing. After countless failed attempts to play a movie from a USB stick, I decided to use the adapter that came with it and play a movie from my iPhone 12 pro max. Again, it was like it had never been connected (Lightning Link with USB2 to HDMI adapter), gives no signal when connected, and screen mirroring isn't available on this model. On my other projectors, if I change the aspect ratio or reduction percentage, I see the change immediately (even if nothing is rendered or reflected), but on this projector there is no visible change at all when set up when there is no media playing . Finally, I connected an HDMI cable from my laptop to the projector (using the projector as an additional screen). It works, but a Bluetooth wireless connection to the display would be much better. At 100% and an aspect ratio of 16:9, the image was 69 inches wide and 72 inches high. Far from the chosen ratio. At 100% and 4:3 it was 57" wide and 74" high (at 74" wide and 57" high it would be about right), so again far from the chosen ratio and auto/100% was 72 inches wide x 74 "My computer's large, distorting screen is almost square. Since I couldn't get an aspect ratio close to my laptop display, I decided to just watch a movie. The default sound settings are terrible, but the "SRS TruSurround XT" and "Movies" sound modes are pretty good.
