Review on πŸ”„ Robinair 10102 2-in-1 Side Can Tap for R12 and R134A AC Refrigerants and Oils by Robert Carlson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great design but not the best quality control

This versatile unit uses R12/134A and the appropriate pressurized oil charges. Everything on the unit is fine except for the leaking valve on port 134A. When using the R12 connector by connecting to the inflation hose, the pressure from the bottle caused the unused connector to leak out of the R12. The leakage is not enough to empty the can, but it is significant. To work around this, connect the 134A hose to the leaking connector and use the check valve in the 134A hose to stop the leak. I was dissatisfied with the operation of this device and the fact that it requires additional parts. available for efficient use. I'd say buy it but beware the problem I'm having. Mine might be something the quality controllers will pass by.
