Description of 🔄 Robinair 10102 2-in-1 Side Can Tap for R12 and R134A AC Refrigerants and Oils

Provides a quick and hassle-free way to connect to a can of R12 or R134A refrigerant, oil, or additive when working on automotive air conditioning systems. Built-in, hinged can adapters allow use with multiple can sizes - even the small oil charge cans. Tap includes standard male R12 and R134A fittings for easy hook up. Schrader valves on fittings prevent leakage and allow for storage of partially used cans. Crafted from a durable, super rigid plastic with a metal hinge pin that adds additional strength at this critical location.

I used this with about 10 cans of coolant.

I've used this with about 10 canisters of refrigerant so far without any problems. Before using it I loosened and re-tightened the Schrader valves on the R12 and R134a fittings and had no problem holding pressure at the tap. I left the bottle on the faucet connected to the pressure gauges for over a week and at the end of the week I didn't notice a drop in pressure.

Ideal for air conditioning and DIY brake bleeder tanks.

Used twice so far. The main reason I bought this is because I sometimes use a vacuum pump to bleed the brakes. I don't want brake fluid getting inside. I can add R134A to the top of an empty can. I then have two holes on top and about 12 ounces of liquid space with a safety margin. Sealing is much better than wrapping tape around the hoses, which doesn't last long once brake fluid comes in contact with it.

A good tool for air conditioner side faucet.

I think Robinair have had success with this side tap for 134a and oil tanks. The build quality showed on the first can I pierced with this faucet. I had to use my strength to get the first can so the faucet handles were blocked, the second can was much easier. I've only had a faucet a few weeks and have only pierced 22 134a and 4 oils. burden the banks for the time being. no leakage problems as long as each can is sealed. If you are only using part of the cylinder you can quickly unscrew the…

Great design but not the best quality control

This versatile unit uses R12/134A and the appropriate pressurized oil charges. Everything on the unit is fine except for the leaking valve on port 134A. When using the R12 connector by connecting to the inflation hose, the pressure from the bottle caused the unused connector to leak out of the R12. The leakage is not enough to empty the can, but it is significant. To work around this, connect the 134A hose to the leaking connector and use the check valve in the 134A hose to stop the leak. I was

Great for whipped cream

My grandkids love whipped cream (it's a bit rough) and while I don't condone my daughter Casey's lack of dietary restrictions, I might as well have a good time with it. Anyway, I love taking a can of Reddi-Whip and slapping it with this cute clip. I attach my R-134 hose to it and it's great for spritzing the kids with whipped cream. Much better than straight out of the can - the beam is much thinner and spreads out for good coverage. After splashing them all from head to toe, I put them back in

Works well as expected

A bit weak but I suspect many have this design. I've used this thing over 50 times and it's still very strong; no leaks, sharp and consistent. A word of caution: Watch a video for proper procedure and placement of the puncture tube tip; and unless you are in a professional environment with appropriate explosion-proof equipment and ventilation specifically designed for heavier-than-air gases (such as an exhaust table), ALWAYS. ALWAYS S. Use outdoors and away from open flames, sparks, static…
