Review on Samlex America SEC1230UL: High-Performance 30 Amp Battery Charger 1213.3002 by Prem Robinson

This charger met my needs and worked exactly as advertised but equally noteworthy the tech support was outstanding. I have had two opportunities to contact them (NOT due to a defect or charger issue) and the response was prompt and extremely helpful. I should also mention that the Samlex documentation goes well beyond the "minimum requirements" and contains a lot of very useful reference information. [Update Nov 2018] I have decided that I need to downgrade one star because the 30 amp charger DOES NOT have a battery. Temperature sensor or means of its connection. I accidentally completely discharged a 105Ah deep cycle battery and this charger on this small battery caused a thermal runaway which luckily I found out before any major damage was done. The charger does a great job charging, but a battery temperature sensor would be a very useful addition when charging a very dead smaller battery.
