I was tired of waiting for the Wahl cordless model so I finally made up my mind and bought this hair clipper. I hate that ridiculous log design/wrapper. I was hoping it would be a sticker that I could peel off. No, that is not so. This is part of the plastic case. Otherwise I'm really excited! I have pretty thick hair but this machine pulled through. Haptics and function have convinced me. Didn't feel cheap at all - except maybe the combs/guides. They didn't cause any problems and will probably be fine, but they were a 7 out of 10 while the clipper itself was a 10. I've only used it once and will update if there are any battery issues. I say buy with confidence.
