*Update. I installed this on a 2019 Outlander XMR. Used it twice to pull myself out of the mud using the tree as an anchor. The second time I used that part of the cable it broke, it looks like 3-4 pieces of cable were coiled up and one of them broke. The winch is open and allows dirt to get in and onto the cable. Every time you use this you basically have to pull it out completely and hose it down with water before you can use it again. Tried to use it for the third time this weekend and it WILL NOT come off the spool due to dirt. I had to attach myself to a tree and wrap it all the way around and spend about 30 minutes cleaning it with high pressure water before I could wrap it back up. As such, I would not recommend this winch to anyone using it for anything that will get dirty or messy. *4 Stars* The kit does not include a mount for the solenoid, so you will need to find a place and mount or fix it with "your" self-tapping screws. Not perfect, but the rest of the set works. The instructions could have been better but I think without knowing what you are installing they were fine.
