Yes, it's an adorably cute DIY miniature, but it has BIG problems! Consider your options (easier gear?) before buying and decide if you have the patience to overcome many obstacles. First, it's a very labor intensive project with literally hundreds of very small parts and very poor, almost non-existent instructions. There are several build demos on YouTube that you should definitely find. The biggest problem here has already been pointed out by other reviewers. NONE of the window frames, inside or out, match up or fit into the designated spots on the caravan. Gentle sanding did not solve the problem. I had to sand each frame to the point where all the paint was gone. Windows must be positioned correctly in their frames or they will interfere with the placement of window frames. It took hours and each frame had to be repainted. I found this extremely frustrating, especially when you want to get rid of the basics so you can get started on the "fun" stuff. I love the fact that there is a lot of room for improvisation with this kit. Some furniture is painted and some is not, so you can get creative with your color choices or even paint your own decorative designs on it. I also swapped out some fabrics for others I had or used the ones that came with the kit for other purposes. If you're into polymer clay, you can make your own food, plates, or accessories like a stovetop pot or canister. Some accessories, like the knife and iced tea glasses, just aren't great or unrealistic, and I've found much better alternatives online. a dremel tool if you have one, for sanding window frames, use both PVA and a hot glue gun for assembly, throw away parts you don't want to deal with (and don't feel guilty). get past a smashed window frame and maybe two lights, the rest is relatively easy and fun. I bought this to put together with my 8 and 9 year old granddaughters and while they were happy to help with the pieces they are too small for the complexity of this set. Despite the poor quality of the parts in the kit and the sheer quantity of parts, I'm giving this three stars because the finished pendant is adorable and makes the perfect home for one of my granddaughter's Calico Critters family!
