UPDATED REVIEW: I really think the product is great for tattooing for the first 24 hours after tattooing to heal on the first day and let the plasma penetrate this bandage. BUT I had to read the reviews because it ripped my tattooed skin off around the tattoo (see attached photo - not only was it a skin layer deep, but the photo was 3 days after removing the patch) when I removed it. I used it over a fairly large palm sized tattoo on my leg. WHAT I RECOMMEND: Trim the product to the size of your tattoo, leaving very little excess at the edges (at the bare edges of the skin). Leave on for 24 hours and release the plasma into this dressing. After 24 hours in the shower, remove and wash the tattoo with water and unscented soap only. Pat dry with a clean paper towel (do not use a bath towel as it contains bacteria which can be harmful to a healing/wet tattoo). If you remove this product after 24 hours, make sure you remove it very slowly so as not to tear off too much skin. I thought it helped a lot when used in this way for the healing process. NOTE: I am not a tattoo artist, I just have many large and small tattoos. UPDATE - ONE YEAR LATER and now I have a scar where my skin was peeled off. (note that I don't scar easily)
