48 hours ago I've never heard the expression "waveguide cap". This is a "window" inside the microwave, made of a special material. When my microwave started sparking I saw it was coming from this thing and upon inspection I found a small hole in it. I went into the google machine and found "waveguide cover". Went to Amazon yesterday, bought this waveguide material, it came in the mail today. Took about 5 minutes to cut it to the old one, put it in the car and whoops! I'm a microwave mechanic. it doesn't get any better.
