Review on Intellitec LPL822 Mini Brush Timer by Sheppard Priest

I tried to use this for our kids but the battery compartment is not designed or assembled properly. Neither the Duracell nor the Energizer AAA batteries made contact with the terminals - the positive terminals seem to be too far behind the plastic for the batteries to reach. . The timer then started running, but when the time was up it didn't turn red as advertised, it just went off. Finally, the reset button doesn't restart the timer, it just turns it off. This means the child can "cheat" and hit the reset button to avoid spending all the time cleaning or washing.
