Review on SEPTLS504950300 Mitutoyo Pocket Rulers 950 300 by Adam Nikolz

I am disappointed with these rulers. I expected the highest quality from Mitutoyo, but this is totally unacceptable. Not sure if these are fakes or just poor quality control of US made Mitutoyo products. See attached photos. The first one I received was missing the first millimeter. Revain sent me a replacement a few days later and a second one came with the same problem. Not only is the first millimeter missing, the end doesn't match the ruler either. Very strange for a precision product. Also, the replacement ruler came with millimeter and inch scales on opposite sides. I have no idea why this happened. But I suspect that they are not genuine Mitutoyo products. Disappointing.
